Tshidi is a former member of the Audit Commission during President Mandela’s administration. Tshidi is a former member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Ethics committee. Tshidi served on the University of the Witwatersrand Council. The purpose of the council being to give direction to the university education landscape. Tshidi lectured at Vista University (now University of Johannesburg) on Financial Accounting. Tshidi is the founder of the Global Women Corporate Directors (WCD) South Africa Chapter. The purpose of WCD is to enhance local governance with a global vision and also advancing competent women directorship on boards. Tshidi has been chairman of WCD since inception in 2011 until 31 August 2015. Tshidi is the founder of African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA). The purpose of AWCA is to advance the training, qualification and empowering women as leaders in the Chartered Accounting profession and corporate board service. Tshidi is a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD). Tshidi is a member of the Association of Black Accountants of SA (ABASA) and served on the founding board of directors of ABASA. Tshidi served on the board of Bombela as the Independent Socio Economic Monitor Director for Gautrain; monitoring achievement of Socio Economic development, targets as set out by Gauteng Province for Bombela. |
